Professor Doctor Davut Aktaş was born in 1957 in Kars/Sarıkamış.
He graduated from Ankara Faculty of Medicine in 1978. He completed his Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist training in the ENT Science department of Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) between 1982-1985. He worked as an ENT specialist at Gümüşsuya Military Hospital between 1985-1989. He became an Assistant Professor in GATA in 1989 and an Associate Professor in 1994. He left GATA in 1997 and served as a faculty member at MALATYA İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center until 2001. He worked as a Professor and Head of the ENT Department at Fatih University in 2001. After leaving Fatih University in 2007, he worked at TDV 29 Mayıs Hospital, Koru Hasatnesi, Medicana Hospital and Umut Hospital, respectively.
He has a total of 64 national and international publications and 45 presentations.
Although he has the necessary knowledge and experience in all areas of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery, his main area of interest is the medical and surgical treatments of Nose, Sinus and Ear Diseases.
