About
Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Hakan Mersin was born in Çanakkale. After graduating from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his residency in General Surgery at the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Department of General Surgery.
For many years, he served as a General Surgery Specialist, Surgical Oncology Specialist, and General Surgery Instructor at the Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital, one of the busiest centers for cancer surgery in Turkey, particularly for breast and thyroid cancers. After retiring, he worked for a period in his private practice and at the Güven Hospital Breast Clinic.
