Prof. Dr. Salih Pay

Prof. Dr. Salih Pay is a physician specializing in Rheumatology. He graduated from GATA Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 1987. He completed his postgraduate internship at GATA between 1987 and 1988. He worked as a General Practitioner at the Tekirdağ 8th Division Command between 1988 and 1990. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at GATA in 1995. He completed his sub-specialty training in Rheumatology at Hacettepe University between 1996 and 1998. Between 1999 and 2000, he served as an Assistant Professor and faculty member in the field of Rheumatology at GATA. He became an Associate Professor in 2000. To conduct experimental studies abroad, he worked on chemokines and chemokine receptors at the University of California-San Diego - Stein Research Center between 2001 and 2002. He became a Professor in 2008. He has published nearly one hundred scientific articles throughout his academic career. He currently serves his patients at Koru Ankara Hospital, and his medical areas of interest are as follows:
