Our treatment plans are meticulously crafted using the Monaco treatment planning system, employing the "Monte Carlo Algorithm," recognized as the gold standard in radiotherapy planning. This approach allows for the calculation of the most suitable dose rate for the patient, optimizing the biological dose and determining the most effective tumor doses to mitigate damage to healthy tissues.
The Elekta Versa HD device incorporates conebeam CT technology, enabling daily monitoring of the treated area. This ensures precise treatment application by confirming the accuracy of the treated area. The Simetry feature of the Elekta Versa HD device further prevents errors by monitoring tumor and healthy organ movements during treatment.
Elekta Versa HD facilitates radiosurgery treatments, often referred to as point-and-shoot, with exceptional precision in 1-3 day sessions. The device's technology allows for treatment with a high dose rate, tripling the maximum dose rate and increasing the likelihood of treatment success while reducing treatment time. Elekta Versa HD enables faster application of linac-based radiosurgery and intensively modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) compared to similar devices, preventing patient movement during treatment.
