About
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Göksal Günerhan completed his medical education at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He received his specialization in Neurosurgery at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2018.
Following his specialization, he served for two years at Kastamonu State Hospital, followed by a short term at Polatlı State Hospital. He continued his academic and clinical work for five years at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, where he gained extensive case experience and earned the title of Associate Professor in his field.
His primary areas of expertise include spinal surgery and brain tumor surgery. He focuses particularly on minimally invasive (closed) surgical methods. He has adopted the principle of integrating technological advancements that shorten patient recovery times and minimize surgical risks into his practice. His studies on Chiari Malformation and the new techniques he has developed have been featured in international literature.
