Prof. Dr. Davut Aktaş

Professor Davut Aktaş was born in 1957 in Sarıkamış, Kars. He graduated from Ankara Faculty of Medicine in 1978. He completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at the Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) between 1982 and 1985. He worked as an ENT specialist at Gümüşsuyu Military Hospital from 1985 to 1989. He became an Assistant Professor in 1989 and an Associate Professor in 1994 at GATA. Leaving GATA in 1997, he served as a faculty member at the Turgut Özal Medical Center of Inönü University in Malatya until 2001. In 2001, he worked as a Professor and Head of the ENT Department at Fatih University. After leaving Fatih University in 2007, he worked at TDV 29 Mayıs Hospital, Koru Hospital, Medicana Hospital, and Umut Hospital, respectively. He has a total of 64 national and international publications and 45 presentations. While possessing the necessary knowledge and experience in all areas of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery, his primary areas of interest are the medical and surgical treatment of nose, sinus, and ear diseases.
