Dr. Eray Kaya

Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Op. Dr. Eray Kaya completed his medical education at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, English Medicine program. He completed his residency training at Ankara Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital / Etlik City Hospital and became an Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist.

Focusing particularly on trauma surgery and sports traumatology in his professional practice, Dr. Kaya deals with the treatment of fractures and dislocations in adult and young patients, complex extremity traumas, sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, and the treatment of post-traumatic orthopedic problems.

His special areas of interest include upper and lower extremity fractures, periarticular fractures, ligament and tendon injuries, as well as knee, shoulder, and ankle sports injuries. The management of meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament, rotator cuff, and shoulder joint injuries, along with the return-to-sports process, are also among his clinical interests.

In addition, he performs hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasty (prosthetic surgery) procedures and provides basic hand surgery treatments for common traumatic and degenerative diseases of the hand and wrist.

Dr. Kaya has successfully completed both the Turkish and European Board of Orthopedics and Traumatology certification exams and has supported his training in the field of athlete health with FIFA Football Medicine certification. He has also completed the TUSYAD orthobiological treatments and stem cell applications training and certification program.

Prioritizing the integration of scientific developments and current treatment approaches into his clinical practice, Dr. Kaya continues his work in the fields of trauma surgery, sports traumatology, arthroscopic surgery, joint reconstruction, and arthroplasty.

Fluent in English and German, Op. Dr. Eray Kaya currently serves his patients at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of Özel Koru Kavaklıdere Hospital.
