Prof. Dr. Suna Emir

Prof. Dr. Suna EMİR graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1989.

She completed her pediatric residency training at the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics between 1990 and 1995. She completed her pediatric subspecialty training at the Hacettepe University Cancer Institute, Department of Pediatric Oncology in 2001.

She received the title of Associate Professor in Pediatrics in 2004 and worked at the Ankara Dışkapı Children's Diseases Training and Research Hospital between 2004 and 2009. She established the Pediatric Oncology clinic at this hospital.

In 2009, she received the title of Deputy Chief of Pediatric Oncology. She served as a Pediatric Hematology and Oncology educator at the Ankara Children's Health and Diseases Hematology Oncology Training and Research Hospital between 2009 and 2016.

In 2019, she was appointed as a founding faculty member with the title of Professor at the Atılım University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics.

Throughout her professional career, she has worked on pediatric residency training and pediatric oncology subspecialty training.

She possesses extensive professional knowledge and experience in general pediatrics and pediatric hematology and oncology.
