Prof. Dr. Gülşah Bademci ist eine auf Neurochirurgie sowie Wirbelsäulen- und Rückenmarkschirurgie spezialisierte Fachärztin. Sie absolvierte 1993 ihr Studium an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Ankara als Viertbeste ihres Jahrgangs. Im Jahr 2001 erlangte sie den Facharzttitel für Neurochirurgie an der Klinik für Neurochirurgie der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Ankara. 2008 wurde sie an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Kırıkkale zur Dozentin ernannt und erhielt 2021 den Professorentitel an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Yüksek İhtisas Universität. Sie war als Research und Clinical Fellow an der University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (USA) an der Seite von Prof. Dr. M. Gazi Yaşargil sowie als Research Fellow an der Yale University School of Medicine (USA) tätig und veröffentlichte zahlreiche internationale Publikationen. Sie besitzt das ECFMG-Zertifikat (USA Board Step 1) sowie das EANS-Zertifikat (European Board). Sie spricht fließend Englisch. Sie ist Preisträgerin in den Sportarten Tennis und Schwimmen. Zudem beschäftigt sie sich auf professionellem Niveau mit Karikaturkunst und medizinischen Illustrationen. In ihrer 30-jährigen beruflichen Laufbahn hat sie als Neurochirurgin unzählige Operationen durchgeführt. Ihr operativer Schwerpunkt liegt insbesondere auf der Chirurgie der Spinalkanalstenose, Bandscheibenvorfällen (Lenden- und Halswirbelsäule), Hirntumoren, Hydrozephalus-Chirurgie und Nervenkompressionssyndromen.
