Prof. Dr. İbrahim Doğan

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Doğan was born in Yozgat. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and became a medical doctor. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine in 1996, and his sub-specialty training in Gastroenterology at Inönü University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Gastroenterology in 2001.
Following his specialty training, he began his academic career as a lecturer at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2003 at the same faculty. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2007 and Professor in 2012. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Doğan worked as a researcher at the University of California San Diego in the United States for 2 years between 2004 and 2006. Having left the Department of Gastroenterology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in January 2023, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Doğan continues his work at Koru Hospital.
